We've been working hard to regenerate LC's sucking instinct, but the pain she associates with eating keeps her from allowing anything in her mouth.
It was suggested that we practice with a pacifier and dip the pacifier into something that would entice her into letting it into her mouth.
We tried juice.
No thanks.
We tried applesauce.
Nope.
We tried sugar water.
Nada.
And then...why didn't I think of it before...today I tried the tiniest amount of...
KETCHUP.
That's great!

ReplyDeleteOh my gosh! That is the cutest video EVER. Good job, lc bug. Curtis says to tell your mommy to try some prunes because they are his favorite. Take a video of her changing that diaper for us. :)
